Conclusion

As you may have noticed, the macro camera on all the smartphones listed above has a significantly lower resolution than the other cameras on the phone. That has led many to believe that the macro camera is useless and phone manufacturers only include it to bulk up their camera specs. But there are also those who don’t mind the macro camera despite its low resolution.

In my opinion, if you want to take good, high-quality macro photos with a smartphone, the best option is to attach an external macro lens to the phone’s primary camera because that’s the camera with the best specifications. If you attach a good-quality lens, the shots will come out looking amazing.
